thanks.... I had forgotten about the hd ride planner.... took a bit, but I got what I was after!! was looking for a rough route, and a few twists and turns. this worked well.

fwiw.... my regular riding buddy and I are taking 4 rookies on a weekend trip. for them, this is a big deal ride. for us, just a small warm up! they are excited, we've had couple of planning meetings, and they are ready!!!

You need to ZOOM to make sure the waypoints are not in the trees or off road.
The waypoints also twist arm of the gps so it will NOT recalculate for distance/time.
Check route in GPS to make sure it matches the computer created route entirely.
