what do you all use for rain gear.
need to get the Wife and I some and don't really want to pay the high price of the HD stuff no more than it will be used.
was looking at the JP Cycles brand stuff for like $60-70. is it worth it or what do you all use
After a lot of research we purchased the “Nelson - Riggs” rain gear.
Very durable, Hi-vis, and has re-enforcing in the legs to prevent burning from the pipes.
We wore them for 5 out of 6 days riding to and from the Milwaukee 115th last year. They kept us dry and warm.
We purchased for approx $125 canadian.
Well worth the price and would highly recommend.
A wet & Cold miserable wife.... thats not worth the $100 youll save going cheapo....
i have HD rain gear, jacket, pants and boot covers. The only thing I have that is better is my Klim Adventure jacket & Pants and my Sigi Boots..... there are no shortcuts in staying dry and warm.

I second the HD high viz rain gear. We wore one set out after 9 years and are on our second. Quality product the holds up well, does what it is supposed to do and adds a level of safety when you need to be seen the most.
As for boots I gave up on the boot covers long ago. There are too many good water proof boots that work year around.
