Default Full Throttle & Buffalo Chip

While staying in Keystone, would stopping at the 2 on the same day be a bit to much to take in on a half day ride or maybe enjoying one or the other be a better choice

There’s an awful lot to see and experience at the Chip. I haven’t been to the new FTS...but even the older one could easily be done In a few hours. Your choice if you just wanna go to each and have a beer, but a T-shirt, and claim you were there. Or really experience it and Check out some shows, Try the beer at various bars, participate in midget bowling & wet tshirt contests. Why the rush?

You probably need to stay at the chip to really enjoy it, They have big name bands in concert every night. Both are more fun after dark. Just my opnion.

Then ride through at noon in the middle of the week. Stop, get a beer, look for a girl wearing body paint, buy a T-shirt...and be gone. Go back to your hotel, and play YouTube videos of the best of Sturgis.

seriously, what you are asking for is kind of absurd. It’s like saying you want to see the best of Paris in 1 hour.

I'll be spending much more than an hour. Between 3 nights in Sundance and 4 nights in Keystone, my plans are to spend half days at the hot spots and then meander it back to our cabin mid afternoon. I see nothing absurd in making the best of the only Rally I will ever attend

Nothing to really see inside the CHIP walls during the day, all the fun is at night when the bands start..
Yeah they may have biker stunts or midget bowling going on..
Be careful riding back to KEYSTONE at night. There's lots of wildlife crossing the roads..
And, oh, NO SUNGLASSES while riding at night in the area, gets you a ticket!

I was there during the 75th before it burned down. Great people watching and everyone who worked there was friendly. Glad I stopped.
So what do you have to lose?

I went over to The Chip one day to pick up concert tickets and they had a cherry pie eating competition. It was entertaining. But night time is when you experience these places. Plan to go see Kid Rock this year. And usually mentioned, make sure you stop at all stop signs and place both feet on the ground. I have sat and drank beer and watched the cops stop people. My entertainment for the night.
