Hello All,
That time of year....Im headed down to Oxford Miss by way of WestVirginia, Kentucky, Nashville...Plan on doing it in 2.5 days...Going to stay in Northern WV on day 1. Been through WV several times and know the riding pretty well...Second night I plan on staying somewhere around Nashville...does anyway have any suggestions as to a good MC location within striking distance to Nashville...may stand an extra day and enjoy the town...not looking to spend a lot of money $100? Once in Nashville I have a good southbound route...but not a whole lot planned in Mississippi..any suggestions...headed East and then North on return trip..stop in Maggie Valley, Front Royal and then back to the rat trap NYC.

If you have time and if you haven't been there yet try to take a 1/2 day (at least) to visit the Wheels Thru Time Museum in Maggie Valley.

Blues town, Delta Blues Museum, near(ish) the river, BBQ, Cool Hotel (Travelers) also, near there (but in Clarksdale somewhere) is the Shack up Inn. Looks funky!! No children, 2 night min. I havent stayed there but apparently you get a sharecropper cabin!! (The Ritz they ain't.) Shack-up Inn

Yep, sharecropper cabins. Stayed there a couple of times. It may be the original furnishings. JK They are clean. Music at Ground Zero Blues Club and Red's Juke Joint (really authentic LOL). They also have some music at The Shack Up Inn at times. We ate some BBQ at Abe's. Their LOGO is something like "Swine dining since 1939".
