4166 Miles in 9 Days
Just got back from solo trip started in Baton Rouge, to Chattanooga, Hwy 74(Awesome road out of Cleveland Tn) to The Dragon, then up the Blueridge Pkwy, onto Wash DC, Up thru Pa.(extra bonus in York, Pa. was the HD Factory).,R.I., N.H., the coast of Maine (must see the Nubble Lighthouse near York), Vermont, on over to Niagra Falls and into Canada(they searched and pulled everything out of my T-Bags), then back home thru N.Y., Ohio, Kentucky, Tenn., and Miss. Great time and I will post some pics as soon as I size them. 2007 Dyna SuperGlide Custom performed flawlessly. Loved every minute.

Did you do the trip solo? I've always been on customs and haven't done a lot of long hauls. Since I've bought the Ultra I'm always iching to get on the road.......don't know where I want to go, just want to point in one direction and take off.

Yes, did the trip solo. I went the opposite of you, I traded my Ultra in on the Custom. I have done long hauls on both, and each has its own pleasures.

Too bad you were putting on too many miles to really have time to enjoy it more. Averaging over 450 miles per day is almost all road time and little if any time for anything other than the road.

The weather was beautiful except the first day it rained almost the whole day thru Mississippi. The second day thru day nine was wonderful, a little chilly on the Blueridge Pkwy.
