I am getting back into the Big Sky on Saturday and may be jetlagged all to hell. But I have been *dreaming* about getting back on my bike. PM your details, ETA at Red Lodge, etc. It'd be great to meet up and ride some.
Leaving for GTNP Friday morning 6:00am. After Yellowstone we \\;should be in Sturgis by Tuesday, good luck to others riding this year and have fun.
I just wanted to thank those that replied to my request for information.
Especially faber and itilman, the ride was epic and went exactly as planned. We left Cooke City at 6:00am and returned back at 11:00am. Very little traffic except on the downhill side of BT. We stopped at the cafe in Red Lodge for breakfast and got gas on the way out of town.
Can't thank you guys enough for helping it was a great part of the whole Sturgis trip.
Faber - the suggested stops in Yellowstone worked out perfect on both sides of the the park.
