Yellowstone Help
You'll be fine. Just be prepared for rain/cold at altitude.
You didn't ask for route suggestions, but I'll give some anyway

This time of year, the following places in Yellowstone are a MUST:
--Hayden Valley (you'll see lots of bison there, with young 'uns, and raptors fishing)
--Lamar Valley (some bison, but lots of elk, whitetail, mule deer, and antelope, and, if you sit and watch for a while, otters and wolves, all with young 'uns)
--Dunraven Pass (bears are up there this time of year)
--the standard geothermal stuff (Old Faithful, Mid Geyser Basin (Grand Prismatic Spring), Norris Geyser Basin (the REALLY big one), and Mammoth (just to see the elk warming themselves in the steam)).
Enjoy!
My Idea so far is to come up from jackson hole around lunch time on my way to Yellowstone lake (have 2 nights booked) and depending on the time of day go over to old faithful. Then I have a full day of riding around the park. Then leave north to the beartooth to devils tower and stay in deadwood.
As the local expert what would you do?

The best part of the Beartooth Hwy is from Red Lodge up, which you'll miss. But this time of year, it isn't at its most scenic. You might as well take the CJ Hwy down to Cody. The Nite Rodeo [sic] starts after Memorial Day. It's PRCA, so it's worth seeing.
The ride to Buffalo is nice, through the high plains. Some good trout fishing in the BIghorns.

(You said you were staying for two nights at Lake, right?)
