Either way, you can't go wrong. Daytona is a blast! Is it your first trip to Bike Week? Have you considered Biketoberfest in Daytona in October? Weather is usually better ( unless theres a hurricane brewing). Its only 3 months away.
I did Daytona this year ( I rode) and to be honest I was disappointed. I know it was cold and the crowds was down but it just didn't live up to expectations (it was my first time there), maybe I was expecting to much
Next year planning to go on a 1500 miles road trip taking in Thunder Beach and then on to New Orleans.
This is going to be Wifey and mine trip too! A day or two at Disney, Big Daddy Don Garlit's museum then to Daytona for 3 or 4 days. We'll fly down, rent a scoot for Daytona and fly back. Setting it all up now.

This is my 1st trip to a bike week yes.....Ive been mentioning it to people and have been told a few times to "save my money" and go to Sturgis next year instead.......
1st time for Bike Week for me as well. We're having a killer winter so March can't come fast enough! Decided to simply make a vacation out of it, from MN and shipping to get my bike there isn't feasible, I may rent one there for a day or two?
Never been there. Is there enough to keep someone occupied for more than a few days? We will be in Orlando, have a Condo there for that week. Trying to decide if we are better off just riding over for a day, then back to Orlando, or if there is plenty to do and see for 3 or 4 days. Then it would make more sense to get a place closer if there is anything to be had.

I have a place about 25 miles west of Daytona Beach, been going for years there's all sorts of things to do, assuming you like to have fun.
