First bring your rain gear I call it rain week then brush up on your French because its now Candida bike week.I have been up to Laconia for 10 years the last 7 years I have stayed at the Margate. We ride all day then head to Weirs at sunset. We leave and catch last call at the at Margate the bar is outside on the lake. If you want to party more you can head across the street to the chinese food place/club you half to check it out its like the movie road house its great for a laugh. I head up the first weekend plenty of bikers less traffic. www.themargate.com

Been going up for years....when the weather is nice...the riding is great....anywhere around the Lake would make a great choice....There is a family place about 25 minutes south of Weirs called Sandy Point....My favorite restaurant, directly on the lake...best stuffed lobster in the word!!!! It is in Alton, which is the southern most part of the lake....Cute little town far enough away but close enough to get to everything....Make sure you take a trip around the lake....The east side is less commercial...longer ride to Wiers and a great ride....So try locating Sandy Point......Good luck and pray for sunshine'

Hey Mike, did you find something? Last time @ Laconia we stayed at the KOA at Twin Mtns. We rented a Kabin and had a great time, one of our best trips to Laconia. Make sure to be out of there on Sat & Sun, the crowds & traffic are terrible, but earlier in the week things are great. In fact Laconia is the best of the big rallys
