Chicago to Durango....
Hey All,
Took a trip to Durango this summer when other plans fell through. More of a travelogue than anything else.....

Thanks. It was a fun read. I've got a friend who was a ESPN rep that decided to pack it up and move to that area. She now does a little freelance work, skis a lot and never looks back. After looking at your pictures, I can see why.

Now thats my kind of ride.. without that charging problem of course.. Great pictures and from the way you tell the story you had a good time.. I try to find those small local places to stay and try to eat where the locals eat.. THANKS for sharing..

Love riding Colorado
Rode across southern Colorado this year.
Wolfcreek Pass was great this year. It rained the whole time I was in Durango but cleared up just before the pass.

I went into Colorado early august also. Stopped in Steamboat, Aspen, Woodland Park. I also went through that Deckers and stopped at the Crossing to have breakfast. Very cool little place. Very nice and great food. Beautiful country. Once you go over a pass it seems like you go down and than go up through another one not to far away. Its great
