To answer your questions...... Can I take a motorcycle on the ferry from Woods Hole to MV, and do I need a reservation? YES Is Martha’s Vineyard motorcycle-friendly?, eh........its ok, lots of mopeds. After Martha’s Vineyard, would it be worth riding out to the tip of Cape Cod and back? How long would that take? YES a trip out to Provincetown is worth it. from Woods Hole(where you get the ferry to MV) it could take anywhere from 1.5 - 3 hours to get there depending on time of year and traffic. A one day trip to MV is not worth it, not enough time to enjoy the whole island with the ferry schedule. Also, MT WASHINGTON AUTO ROAD in NH. Ride your scoot to the highest point in NE, scary road to some, cliffs will expound the pucker factor. Kancamagus Highway near that.
