i'm just curious, is there some reason you're not riding down to daytona? after all, you've got a premium touring bike, and one would think that its purpose was to go wherever you want to go under its own power. if you absolutely need to trailer it, there's always a u-haul center nearby.

I'll take that compliment too. Unless there's ice on the road, I ride year-round.

Riding in DC, VA, and NC in Feb early march is a roll of the dice. I know those who do it but it's risky because of snow and Ice.

Why is it every tie someone asks about trailing their bike they get grief? I thought real bikers were free spirit?

PLUS ONE !! I rode from NYC to Daytona and Key West many times in warm weather. I rode to Bike Octoberfest every year, but trailered to Bike Week. For me safety is a reason, but to tell the truth, comfort was the issue, why should I take the chance of hitting bad weather and freezing my *** off on a vacation ??? Now I am retire and live in Florida. I ride almost every day unless it looks like rain, then I drive in comfort. Just my two cents.
