We are skipping Amercade and going to Laconia again this year.
The riding from Woodstock north and all around the white mts national forest is great.
We ride in from Ct, it is 350 miles, we go through western mass, then Vt to Rutland and then East to 93 north to Woodstock, it is a beautiful ride just getting there with all the covered bridges that are left and we go straight through the middle of the green mts national forest on the way.
Lots of great mild mt rides all through there.
the Full Throttle saloon and whatever else they bring to just north of the drive in is fun on Saturday nights but otherwise we ride the area and stay out of the Lakes region to avoid traffic and cops.
We go downtown one day for the venders and stuff and to see what they are planning for entertainment and then the rest of the week we meet people and meet up with friends and ride to all the ski slopes.
they open summer activities, mt coasters, zip lines, etc..
Anyway, we will be there from Weds through Sunday, staying in a cabin in North Woodstock this year.
I wonder is they are doing anythign special for the 95th I think anniversary?
I like Americade too but I prefer the riding in New England better, Americade is the family friendly bike week, but the venders there at the beach have a great set up usually, we seem to meet more folks and have more fun in Laconia
