As previously mentioned, that is a lot of seat time. But it is also a lot of site seeing. The second ride has a lot of interstate. Riding everyday? Are you stopping to visit and explore or just riding?
The second ride was actually the East Coast and Laconia Motorcycle Rally which was along the entire Blue Ridge Parkway and US 11, US 2, VT100 and the East Coast. The only Interstate was from Jacksonville to Mobile because I ran out of time on the 17 day trip. The rest of the trip was back roads, scenic highways and US routes.
The first trip was the Sturgis Rally, West Coast. Pacific Coast Highway 101, US 2, no Interstate at all on that 10,000 mile trip. Mostly US routes. The map is not all that accurate as I came across the Grasslands in Kansas on the way back.
Lot of interstate this year due to time restrictions. Riding every road in the Black Hills takes a while with a million people up there. Riding them twice takes a lot longer. Still had time for Yellowstone and Beartooth Mountain.
I wish I had more time for all these trips. Alaska in 28 days was a 14,000 mile blast.
