we have ridden the TRACE from one end to the other at one time or another , i like it more in fall when leaves change collers.. the wife likes old two lane roads through old rural areas and towns without a lot of traffic and running 55 or so . i think we may be leaning taward east TN Smokey Mts. Blue Ridge Pkw. area..

Like all the others have said, pick a direction and go, you can't go wrong.
Head southwest and go tour the plantations in Mississippi and Louisiana. East northeast gives you the Smokies with all the fun twisties as well as Cades Cove for a little step back in time. No matter what you choose, remember to tell us about it and take pictures to share.
Safe travels.

If you have 10 days, pick a direction and go 200-300 miles, enjoy the ride, stop for the night, next day get up and do it again! In 10 days it's very easy to run 2,000 miles and really enjoy the ride and all the things to see and do!
