rolling vacation
sorry to be so long replying been out of town and no int. service.. 400 miles total , could be a couple hundred more , but we arent seasoned riders in terms of being use to long stays in the seat. we enjoy riding and looking but also stoping and looking and "SMELLING THE ROSES".. THANKS FOR THE INFO AND AGAIN SORRY ABOUT DELAY IN RESPONDING ..
we have ridden the TRACE from one end to the other at one time or another , i like it more in fall when leaves change collers.. the wife likes old two lane roads through old rural areas and towns without a lot of traffic and running 55 or so . i think we may be leaning taward east TN Smokey Mts. Blue Ridge Pkw. area..
some of your replys got me researchin and rethinking things a little .. thanks for your replys .. AGAIN I SAY SORRY FOR NOT REPLYING TO YOUR THAUGHTFUL REPLYS SOONER , I KNOW IT SEEMED AS THOUGH I MAY NOT APPR. THEM BUT WE DO , THANKS AGAIN TO ALL SUGJESTIONS AND INFO ..
Like all the others have said, pick a direction and go, you can't go wrong.
Head southwest and go tour the plantations in Mississippi and Louisiana. East northeast gives you the Smokies with all the fun twisties as well as Cades Cove for a little step back in time. No matter what you choose, remember to tell us about it and take pictures to share.
Safe travels.
