Bad Factory 47 Bars
Nota good story, I just bought a 2016 CVO road glide. Love the bike but hated the stock bars. talked to a local shop ( Cycle Stop USA) and was told the best bars would be Factory 47 12". They only make them to order for the CVO's waited the 20 days plus two weeks for shipping, California to Tampa Florida. Shop called me when they got them and made an appointment to have them installed. Picked up the bike and saw a flaw in the chrome right up by the top bend. called Factory 47 about it and there reply was sorry for your luck. sense the bars had been installed there wasn't anything they could do. So I guess you don't always get what you pay for. I know it is not a perfect world and flaws happen, but you would think a company like Factory 47 would stand behind there work. I am waiting to see what the management has to say about the bars. Not a great advertisement of there quality.
To be honest, my shop would have called me and said; your bars aren't perfect, we are sending them back. You can't totally fault F-47. They did miss the defect; however the shop had them out and must have seen it as well. They DID NOT have to install the bars, and the warranty would have been supported.

Not to hijack your thread, but I had those guys install my new tires a couple of months ago and sat around while they were being done and talked with the owner. The owner is PRETTY high on himself!!! I won't be using him again for anything.....
