Does this affect the 110 upgrade kit? (yes)

I bought a 2007 DYNA FXD 96 Cu In. After 1000 miles I had the 110 SE kit installed.
After about 700-1000 miles The front and rear jugs started leaking at the bottom. Dealer replaced O rings and cemented it. I have 3800 on it now with no leaks. I expect it to start leaking again.
The leaks don't bother me as much as the crank run out that is showing up on these 110's.
It can cause the oil pump to go south and there are two documented cases where the motor has siezed up while riding. Fortunatly neither rider was killed or injured. I was really nervous when I ran at the drags last week. I was wondering if the motor was going to lock up at 105 mph.
I am Hoping Harley does a recall on the motor with a new design.
Just curious what your numbers were? @ 105mph I would guess 12sec.1/4milemay be 11sec. My bike feels more like a 11second runner! Never mind 12.50s thats good for your first time!! Cought the outher post had a Malibu that ran 11.67 @114mph. What did you have to do to your bike to make it LEGAL for the track officials to pass it for test and tune Because I would love to run my bike down the track! Im just not sure how much **** I want to put on it to make it legal 4 the track.

I won't mention the name of the track but all I needed was to have a Full Face helmet, drivers licnece, registration and a tethered kill switch.
I didn't have the kill switch so I tied a string around my spark plug wires and the other end to my wrist. Walla!!
I ran a 12.50 @ 105.5
If your bike is stock with slipons stage1, and sert tune, It might be kinda tuff to make it in the 11's.
You would need a 1.50 60' time. I ran a 1.87 60'
For every .1 you drop in 60' you will drop .15 on your 1/4 mile ET.
So if I ran a 1.50 60' then my ET would have dropped to about 11.94 in the 1/4.
Trying to get a 1.50 60' will be a real chore with out a slick and a humungus burnout.
My dyna is light compariabily, Single seat and no accessories.
I would like to know what other folks are running but It doesn't look like many people take them to the drags.
Good luck and let me know what kinda ET you ran.
My Dyno numbers were 92hp and 114 TQ. A mild tune for the 110 motor.

Thanks for the reply.

FWIW: I am not a CVO owner, and I wish I had heard this directly, so take it for what it's worth:

HD has found in a high percentage of bikes that the cylinder linersin the CVO 110 move and that movement is causing oil leaks. HD is trying hard not to issue a recall to deal with the problem; hoping instead to deal with it on a case by case, dealer by dealer basis. The dealer who shared this information with a good friend of mine and HD motorhead told him this "moving cylinder lining/oil leak problem" has occurred in about 12-15% of the 110 CVO bikes sold by the dealership.

I don't know jack about this other than what I related.

Whether your bike needs a new battery or not, I suggest using one. I've been using them for a long time and they are well worth the money. No battery or starting issues and my batteries last forever.

I have heard of the compression release wires burning and causing them to stop working.

I had my 2008 screaming eagle 110 in for its 7500 service. I had been complaning about it being had to start.I had them check the compression releases. The back cyl. was not even working. They put in new ones and now it works great. The oil leak I had at 5000 miles was a sliped cyl. liner? this also has been fixed
