Picking the bike back up from the Dealer tomorrow!
They found a sheared bolt on the cam plate, no damage other than that. Checked all the clearances and its good to go. Now I'll do a quick 250 mi check on it and then get the Super Tuner and Air Box and dynoed.
I figured it was something like that as it ran good and strong, and only a little noise.

So, what you are saying is you originally found 5 pieces of metal the size of bbs in the oil. Then a sheared cam plate bolt, and no other damage. What made the bbs, and why the sheared bolt? Something don't add up.

Who knows?
The bike runs good now other than a heat issue but that is not uncommon on the 110 that hasn't had anything done to it.
Next week putting the super tuner on it and D & D Fatcats and doing the dyno tune. That should richen it up and do away with the lean conditions.
They tore the mtr all the way down looking for what made medal and didn't find anything, so I'm not going to lay awake worring about it. (got 6 yrs and 10 mos more warrenty left) and I figure it will be rebuilt a couple of times on thier dime.

I feel for all the guys having problems with there 110's. I've been lucky so far. I have an 08&nbsp\\;FXDSE-2 with 8000 miles on it. It's running perfect so far with loads of power. Were there any changes made in 08 vrs. 07 bikes?

My 110 is working better now since the gasket replacement. 2k miles so far with no leaks. Once I hit 6k or so I may breathe a sigh of relief!

Unhappy 110 problems

My 110 is going in next week for the fourth time. two oil leaks, compression release, now for the recall on efi part and while its in they are replacing both gaskets, the cans, and the heads. Manger said its going to be a recall anyway. I love the way my bike looks and runs but these motor problems are a pain.
