If you are listening only to music, bring you own via your phone or another device. Much better than satellite radio. The only reason for satellite radio that I can identify is if one listens to some of their talk radio.
I can tell you from experience that moving the antenna up on the dash makes a HUGE difference. I bought a 2017 TriGlide and had the dealership move my XM from my '17 SG to the TriGlide. They put it under the fairing as normal. Rode home thru the tree lined roads and constantly lost signal. Got home and moved it up on the dash, never lost the signal. Traded the TriGlide in on a '17 Limited with the exact same scenerio.. On the way home receptions sucked, moved it to the dash, bingo perfect. Easy fix and can't go wrong.

How is this done? Is there a antenna relocation kit?
moved mine also.much better.open fairing and just move it on top of inner fairing beside vent.
Most guys take a small round file to file a small clearance groove in the fairing so the cable doesn't get pinched between the windshield. Thats the only thing holding me back from doing the relocate. Until then, I put up with the drops.
All you need to do is take off the outer fairing and you will see the small black plastic cube that is your antenna under the right side on a magnetic mount. The wire is plenty long enough to relocate it. You put a TINY slit in the very edge of the fairing where it meets the windshield just big enough to recess the thin wire. I use a Dremel cut off wheel. I mean we are talking about 1/16 of an inch tiny. Put a hunk of 3M sticky on the bottom and put it on your dash. You can NOT see the slit at all. Makes a HUGE difference when the antenna cube has direct line with the Sats..

Hopefully someone makes or will make a antenna relocation kit because I ain't putting any holes or slits in the custom paint.....
Never seen a relocation kit. Did it on my CVO, simple. A small rats tail file and just a notch so the cable cant be pinched. Cant even see where it is notched.
If you were to actually take off your outer fairing and see first hand what we are talking about making that tiny slit you wouldnt be concerned about messing up your custom paint. There is NO way you can see it.
