I have a 2018 CVO Limited. I would like to see what my NAV version is compared to what is available. Since there are only 3 free updates in 5 years can I wait a year or more to register or does the 5 year clock start with my year model? Seems like there is no reason to update the maps now. Also can I update dealerships and POI without using one of the free updates? Can't seem to get past the log in/register to find current versions

Fixes
Arrival time showed the current time after user deviated from a route.
Next turn area displayed an arrow with the current street name.
Special Alpha Jump characters were not displayed.
The SMS (Short message service) repeat button wouldnt read the message clearly if pressed multiple times before it has completed the readout.
Audio paused after loading a ringtone.
VR (Voice recognition) not working after an ignition cycle.
Local media preset inconsistent between shutdowns.
User was unable to search for preferred POI (Point of interest) after simulation sleep.
Constant Game Start pop-ups.
Presets from USB (Universal serial bus) drive 1 were still visible on USB drive 2 but not highlighted as available.
Albums and artists heading were mismatched with list.
AM (Amplitude modulation) radio presets not highlighted when USB was unplugged.
Repeat button NOT enabled on first selection.
Pre-cal reset did not delete trails.
Accept screen appeared for less than 15s after exiting User Off mode.
Saving or editing emergency number did not work.
No SiriŽ pop-up displayed while saving an emergency number.
Text was missing in the maneuvers list after switching to high contrast mode and then back.
No initial Siri pop-up initiated.
Cancel noise was heard when going from VR to Siri.
Prompt Volume was not updated after changes in Feedback Settings.
GPS (Global positioning system) entry changed W(O) to E in Spanish.
WHIM (Wireless headset interface module) Low battery pop-up was not shown for passenger headset.
WHIM Paired BluetoothŽ device name appeared as Headset.
Repeat prompt was not working.
SiriusXMŽ weather map did not maintain the default zoom level.
User off mode enabled navigation prompts.
VR conflict if Siri was launched from phone at the same time with the radio.
Saved USB presets for drive 2 were replaced by drive 1 after an ignition cycle.
USB saved as favorite was not highlighted after an ignition cycle.
Distance to next action bar disappeared before route recalculation instead of being grayed out.
Navigation is not ready displayed when initiating navigation command to Find Next Gas Station via VR.

After calling Harley customer service they said the Nav map updates are not free for CVOs.
The software update & dealer database updates are free.
I believe some of the older CVOs did have free Nav map updates but not my 2019 CVO.
This is another thing Harley cut out to save $$.
If anyone finds a way to get free Nav map updates on their CVO please post.

When you did this in the Boombox GTS Toolbox, did you get the option to purchase the CVO maps or did it just say MY20 for $149.95? If you login to https://naviextras.com and look for maps, they offer one for the CVO at $159.95 and another map, it has the same title except without the CVO, for $149.95. For me, in the Boombox GTS Toolbox, it only offers one option which says MY20. There is no option that says CVO.
I am wondering what the difference is between the CVO version of the MY20 maps is and the standard version of the MY20 maps. I am also wondering why the Boombox GTS Toolbox only offers one version which says MY20 for $149.95. I started on this journey because I wanted to make absolute certain that for the 2019 GTS radios that there is no difference in CVO vs. non CVO maps before spending $149.95. I spent a lot of time, both on the phone and through trial and error, trying to get the answer to this question before spending $149.95 on a map that did not contain all of the features designed for my CVO bike. I hope you find the information below helpful.
All GTS radio systems can no longer be updated using the NaviExtras Toolbox. They must be upgraded using the Harley Davidson Boombox GTS toolbox. They changed something in the way the fingerprint is created that makes it unreadable by the NaviExtras Toolbox. This is why no matter how many different USB devices I used or which computer I tried plugging them into, NaviExtras would not recognize them.
An 8 GB USB drive will no longer suffice. You will need a 16 GB USB device to complete the download and installation of the map software to your USB device. I used a 16 GB USB device and after the installation of the map update to the USB completed, there was close to 12 GB of data on the drive. Also, exFAT is now a supported file system to format your USB device. This is handy to use if you have a USB device over 32GB in size. There are ways using third party tools to format drives over 32GB with FAT32, but I digress.
The Boombox GTS Toolbox will only show a map update such as MY20 and no longer distinguish between CVO or non CVO versions of the map. I have been assured that although there is a difference between the CVO and the non CVO maps for bikes with non GTS radios, this is no longer the case for 2019 bikes with a GTS radio.
