Default Air Cleaners

Does anyone know for sure if the Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner kit
https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...ir-cleaner-kit
has better air flow numbers than the stock air cleaner on the CVO Limited? Please don't tell me that the limiting factor is the Throttle Body. That only becomes true once you max out the stock throttle body's flow, up till then every little bit helps.

Everything about it is the same, except it is providing the K&N Hi-Flo Element.
Which you can buy at HD.

Looks like HD convinced K&N to not sell this unit on their web site currently

Cool, so now the question is what is the P/N of the stock air cleaner? I took a look last night, but could not find it.

Looks like that is the stock air cleaner. The ventilator is not all that high flow.

Here is the highest flow one that HD makes for the M8

https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...ow-air-cleaner

Even flows more than the Heavy breather for the M8

The Stock part number is 29400267.
It is very similar, just different materials then the K&N unit. I cant answer if it flows the same or not but it is a synthetic material that can be washed and reused, just not oiled like a K&N

Here is a whole topic on it.

I know the Ventilator does not have enough flow for high hp engines, and even at modest levels it cost 3 HP and 4 torque vs no air cleaner.

Yeah, I know that really sucks, but the wife likes the way the stock AC looks...

i switched out my heavy breather for the ventilator just because i wanted to run lowers. i know that they say the ventilator will cost a few hp/tq over the hb, but my butt dyno doesn't feel it, so i'm okay with it.
