Lifters and cam bearings, then ride the hell out of it. If it doesn't have it already a good stage one set up with a quality tune will help with heat. The 110 got a bad reputation but with a few pieces it can be a great motor.
I second the lifters and cam bearings. This should be done ASAP. Many of these 110" have had failed lifters at this mileage that can cause major damage and take out an engine. Do not wait to get this done!!!
Also, if not already done, at a minimum a stage 1 should be done to reduce the heat and extend longevity of this motor.
What has done to this bike historically? Maybe all this has been done already. I have a 2008 CVO Roadking and I did the lifters, cam bearing and a cam earlier on to make sure I didn't have any problems as our riding season is very short.
I don't think anything has been done and the shifter shaft is loose as hell and I don't know if I am willing to part with my current ride so I am really struggling with this one.I have a 09 flhtcu with a 96 ci in it and I have done all the work to get rid of heat and I have it running excellent... .mine is a us bike with 45000 miles on it......so I am still mulling it over.
