Is it a new leftover bike with under 50 miles and the full 2 year warranty. Or is it used?
If so how many miles? They have a used 2016 out by me with 15,xxx miles on it wanting mid 20's. Same bike only its grey. If new your offers good but I wouldn't go any higher. If used I think you can do better. I rode that bike at demo days. Nice riding bike. The water cooling helps keep the rider cooler. Good Luck on the deal

Once the M8 came out the 16s took a bike hit the same way the 17 CVOs did when the 18s went to a 114. If you plan to keep it for a long time it won’t be as big a deal but if you try to sell it or trade it in a year or two and paid $35k you’ll be way behind.
Now don’t get me wrong that is a GREAT looking bike and would be a awesome ride, just need to work on the price a lot.
Good Luck and I hope it works out for you.
Thanks for the info.....I will be keeping this bike for as long as I can continue to ride....
My '08 is at 105k miles ....so I don't trade every couple of years.

That is a guarantee @ haggling after the price has been established !!!

Brand new, never left the showroom floor....I am comfortable at $30k.
I will also be asking for the ESP to be tossed in.....along with in house merchandise.
The bars will need replacing, and lowers will need some red ruby color, as they are all silver palladium.

I have the same bike but different color. Amazing bike no problems I can think of but I had to change three things:
suspension
seat
sound system

now it's perfect.

My friend has a 2015 CVO RG and about at the 10K mile mark needed a new water pump. He was up north on the road when it happened and asked me to check on this forum regarding trouble with the water pumps. I saw a comment from someone that had had that problem in Sturgis and the dealer he took his to there (Black Hills) told him that they had replaced a "hundred or a few hundred" of them during the rally. I can't remember which is was but even a hundred seems like a pretty large amount. He next had a problem with the Infotainment system and once again I researched it on this forum and found that perhaps on the RG needing a screen replacement was not an unusual problem. He took it to the dealer and they had to replace the screen. Think if it were me and adding in it being a CVO plus any 110 concerns, I'd push for some sort of extended warranty.

Recently bought a 16 CVO Street Glide with 6800 miles on it. Came with raised bars and and paint match king tour pack. We gave 27995.00 and got a 3 year extended warranty for an additional 1500.00. Got it home and drove it for about 100 miles, started making a hell of a racket. Ended up needing 4 lifters and new cam tensioners. My guess is that needing the lifters is why the bike was traded in and the dealership didn't run it long enough for it to be warm enough for the lifters to make noise. It's fixed and have put about 500 miles on since and have not had any issue so far. Definitely buy the extended warranty, and FYI the price on that is negotiable.
