Default Small Friction Zone

I need to let my clutch out quite a bit before I start to hit my friction zone. Is this adjustable?

My son has a Dyna Low Rider and he took my bike out for a ride and commented on the difference.

Some folks here can give tech advce by assuming what the bike is, but most of us cannot...

I'm guessing hydraulic clutch.

Mine starts catching roughly 1/100" from fully away from the grip and there is no adjustment available for it. (yes, exaggerating but not by much)

You get used to it.

Two things you can do...

1) the AIM Light Force Slave Cylinder (I did this) - Makes the clutch pull about 60% lighter and widens the friction zone.
2) HD has a metal washer you can install that widens the friction zone.

There is no adjustment on a hydraulic clutch.....

Installed the AIM unit on mine last month. Served 3 purposes: widened the friction zone, can now pull in the clutch with just 1 finger, eliminated the need to have the dealer do the recall on the slave cyl. It was a win win win. Best money spent

There is a new part # for the clutch damper spring seat in 2019 that fixes the "end of throw engagement" for the clutch.
