You want to get hated? Have the nerve to buy a different brand with your own money.

I always think CVO models are way too much money, until I'm standing in front of one.

In the 12 years I served in the Army, I unfortunately saw many friends perish horrifically right in front of me and near me at times. In the civilian world, we now have shooters (ie; Las Vegas) and crazy people that will kill you for no reason. Therefore, DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY. Life is so short and can be sniffed out at any time. So, if/when someone ever makes a comment to me like that, I will simply smile at them and say "this bike makes me very happy. But, God bless you and I hope you find happiness too". Kill em with kindness I say, and live your life the way YOU want to, not the way other people want you to due to their own agendas.

I have admired many CVO bikes up close on showroom floors. Have considered purchasing one on more than one occasion. But...., so far I'm not willing to spend what they cost. And that's kinda silly. If I bought a CVO the only financial downside for us would be a few bucks less my wife's two nephews would end up inheriting from us lol.

So, even though I personally am willing to settle for maybe "less of a bike" cause I'm not willing to pay the price tag of a CVO I have no problem with you or anyone else who buys a CVO bike. And who knows, I might even buy one myself sooner or later. Screw the nephews lol.
