In my opinion the only thing better then 1 CVO is having two. Yep I get snide comments, I do not care. I ride what I want. I'm on my 7th CVO since 2009. My 7 month old 2019 CVO RG has 14,475 miles on it. I'm still loving my 13 CVO King with its built motor.
Live every day like its your last one, as you do not know which day will be your last one.
I experienced unexpected behavior and comments from several people we know well and ride with.
Ours was a left over 2017. If you all remember the new 2018s had some premium prices above MSRP nearing $50k. Someone told friends we bought a $50k bike and they did not know better and were stunned we would spend that on a motorcycle. A few others get excited about a new bike and go look at CVO models and frankly they were out of their budget. Instead of just saying well in 15 years when we are your age maybe we will get one also, instead they made comments directly to me like those CVO bikes dont show me anything, and there is no way they are worth that, just throwing money down the drain.
The nice thing for me is I have reached an age where I dont care. We buy what we want, when we want, what color we want and if there is something we cannot afford we are always happy for those that can!
It comes down to jealousy in most cases. But if Inhad known I would love a CVO as much as I have I would have done it sooner!
Ride what you like and Enjoy the Ride!
Exactly! Finally at 53 and us working our asses off, we could get our 1st cvo. I still have my 11SG that ive built up to cvo look a like and my wife rides it. Do what makes you happy ! Lets face it no matter what we do in life ,someone somewhere isnt going to be happy with what you've done or accomplished. So in the end if you and your wife/gf/or self is happy then ride the **** out of that new bike and just smile. I know we do !
Don't worry about others, do what makes you happy. My buddy and I coming home from Utah he broke a drive belt and had to get towed 80 miles back to Mile High HD in Denver CO.
Will they fixed his bike I bought a 2019 CVO Limited.. Got a smoken deal.. Great people to deal with. Bought 7/10 Timing is everything with new 2020's coming out soon.. Bought my 2016 CVO RGU two days before Christmas, again timing. Who buys 40,000 motor cycles in December..

My point is do what makes YOU happy!!
Bought my 2019 CVO Road Glide Dec 24th, in East TN.
I have not received anything but compliments on my 2018CVO Limited. But I really don't give a $hit what other people think. I worked my *** off for 40 years to get to this point and I will damn well do what I want.
I agree with all of you, I love my CVO, Its a 2017, it sat on a dealers floor for a year, I got a hell of a price for it as he was closing. I went with the full meal deal, P&P heads and big exhaust, still covered by warranty. I put the tour Pak on in the solo location, its a joy to ride...I love it.
Most people who see my bike ask lots of questions and say how nice it is, even my riding friends... This is my first CVO after owning 8 other HD in my life, Now I dont think I could ever go back to non CVO... My friends only get jealous because I paid cash for my bike, I have always done that.. Enjoy what you ride!!!
