This id the CVO i pulled the trigger on. 1000 miles so far in a week. Looking to put many more on it. 9th HD. This is by far the best bike i have owned or ridden. Over priced but Rolls Royce on 2 wheels. Thanks for all the input!
Any one can help me please??? I went for a long ride here in Sydney We went to Oxley Highway and coming back home I broke my belt drive and I just start free welling down hill.. when I stop the engine and park on the side, I just saw the belt drive hanging at the back.. I herd a loud crank or the belt snapping.. is this covered by warranty and is the belt drive only the problem??? I left the bike in the dealership and would you imagine theres only one belt drive in Australia... I couldnt believe it!!!! Stuck with a broken belt drive 2019 CVO STREET glide Is this covered by warranty??
2019 cvo street glide is this belt drive covered by warranty???
Stock bike? Thats very unusual for a belt to break on that new a bike. I would think it should be covered under warranty, if the bike is less then 2 years old.
It’s hard to tell, there might have been a puncture there for a while and it finally failed. Have them check the pulley for abrasion as well. Belts usually last a very long time, usually age or debris causes them to fail specially if they are not adjusted correctly, in your case your bike is a 2019 so there is no reason for the belt to fail like that on its own.
Betcha they will say that it is a wear item and they won't cover it. Even will little to no mileage.
It does look like a puncture wound, my guessing is a rock caused it.
BUT, hopefully your selling dealer will cover it for good faith.

I would think it should be covered by warranty. I have a '17 SG and it would be covered under my ESP.
you have a gorgeous bike, sir....i love that color
if I were you, I'd two two things. Get it into a competent shop and see what you can do understand what happened.
As well, get the HD tool for checking the tension on your belt. That belt failure is really unusual. The first place I'd be checking is the tensioner to make sure there wasn't an issue there.
I will preface this by saying that I am very fortunate in my life. I have a great job as does my wife that pays us very well and I have made sure to not have any debt that can't be covered by half of one paycheck. Our kids are grown and gone and we don't have a house payment. So for me it's about the satisfaction of owning what I want. I have wanted a Springer for years but couldn't justify the high prices they were asking so when I found the 07 CVO Springer with only 3533 miles on it last year I pulled the trigger, supposedly only 1240 were made in this color that year.
I also just purchased a new Eagle Eye Road Glide that is limited to only 900 models made, but it is my understanding due to Covid they only made 742... So at this point I am looking for bikes outside the mainstream black Harley and enjoying every minute of riding them I can get. Supposedly, wisdom comes with age.... I don't know about that, but my wife and I enjoy our lives and don't worry about what others may say. Heck, my wife is getting as bad as me, after buy a new Sportster 48 last winter, she didn't like the suspension so she went in and bought a new FXST Softail..... Ride what makes you happy, life is short and there aren't any do overs...
I bought my '19 CVO Road Glide (Mako Shark Fade) because I loved the paint and the look of the bike. Never owned a touring bike, always had Fat Boys and Breakouts. I saw bike on the HD website, and put a deposit down ASAP. Since then, I've done a ton of work and couldn't be happier. "You could have bought a Road Glide Special and just made it custom" is the typical response. Haters.
