I bought my '19 CVO Road Glide (Mako Shark Fade) because I loved the paint and the look of the bike. Never owned a touring bike, always had Fat Boys and Breakouts. I saw bike on the HD website, and put a deposit down ASAP. Since then, I've done a ton of work and couldn't be happier. "You could have bought a Road Glide Special and just made it custom" is the typical response. Haters.

They just do not understand. You get next to nothing for stuff added to a bike at trade. I ride a lot, over 27,000 miles this year. CVO gets trade value of a CVO. Don't have to add much to it to make it look great.
Buy a CVO because you want it. And or you did the math and the extras on it add up to a fair deal for what you want. As for the CVO brand it has no real value.
In the end always your money your ride spend it as you see fit
Anytime anyone has anything negative to say, I tend to agree....it really deflates them....
Motorcycles are dangerous....I agree, that's actually part of the reason I ride them. The thrill is really quite addictive. As irrational as it is, and I realize it's not for everyone, I willingly take on more risk than a cager for one simple reason....it pleases me to do so.
That CVO was way overpriced (actual comment from a friend)....I agree....but there was no way I was going to be able to get...
a custom paint job
the best production sound system available on a stock bike
brake assist technology
ABS
keyless controls
upgraded foot and hand controls
screamin' eagle stage I upgrade
etc...
....for what you paid for yours....so I paid more.
Agree with all you said. I posted a pic some where of the bike i got. Anyway i traded ac2015 Limited Low in Radioactive green for a 2019 CVO Street Glide in the two color combo. Not sure what the stupid name is. I just know i love the bike and wish i could have afforded this back in the day. All i know is twice since i got it i have planned on taking long trips both times i broke either an ankle or leg the day before or morning of the trip!!LOL First time i tripped down the steps ended up with screws and plates. Next year i broke my other leg the day before. Geez!!LOL
