Its not really difficult--just remove your seat to see battery location and feed wires up through or down through the left hand side[remove cover where your ecm is] and then connect to your battery

Yes, and don't $pend extra $$$ for the flashy HD logo on one fm your dealer. Battery Tender Jr., Noco, etc. sell great units @ cheaper prices. I have them on my Mustang, riding mower, bike & occasionally my truck if it sits for a bit.
