Anyone trade with a dealer that has a RG CVO (not a Limited) on the floor? Preferably the green or blue, not the upgraded orange. And not one they've marked up $10K. I delayed a couple of days sealing the deal and missed one at the local dealership. My dealer says they are scarce as hen's teeth and he can't find a dealer that will trade with him. I live in south AR so the closer the better.
Or if one of you fine gentlemen bought one, are supremely disappointed, and would like to trade for a low mileage 2020 Limited plus some $$...
I had no intention of trading. Was up in Wisconsin on vacation a few weeks ago and stopped in a small dealership, they had both blue steel cvo road glide and street glide in stock. Been there about a week according to salesman. Anyway, as I was admiring it he said can he at least give me a trade price. They were at msrp on both cvo's. Gave me $32,000 trade on my 2018 CVO Road glide with 27,000 miles on it. So I traded for $11k. Thought it was too good of deal to pass up. Added bars and trunk, not pictured. Went back and picked it up two weeks later. Since I bought I've been watching, yet to see another not marked up 5 grand over msrp. I wouldn't have traded if that was the case anyway.
Jjk, you’re quite lucky. Here in south Texas it’s hard to find a CVO, and if you do it’s priced well over msrp - and still sells quick. I got aced out of two test rides on CVOs that sold out from under me.
For one, I was at dealer with papers on my prospective trade-in, had signed their release and was ready to go - when another sales guy said “stop, it’s sold”. Second time, they called me shortly before I was to head to the shop.
Blue Steel looks nice and so does the scorched chrome. Just wish they would have put stretched bags on it. I have a Green Fade CVO RG on its way to me now. Looking forward to it.

Congrats. My dealer has yet to get another one in.
