I just installed the chopped tour pack in solo position on my Whiskey Neat. Solo mount only comes in chrome so I haded it powder coated gloss black. I put 3M paint protection film on the paint buy the shocks were solo mount slides onto shock mounts. You can barley see it. Tour pack came with no mounting instructions and no mounting hardware. I was able to find the mounting instructions on line which enabled me to buy the correct hardware. Went to install the lock, no installation instructions and no mounting screws. Cant get instruction on line. Ride 110 miles to dealer to get screw, they don't have them. They give me size and I buy them at ACE on the way home. Wrong size. Crazy Harley doesn't give you hardware any ore. Dealer says this is fifth tour pack and lock with no hardware.
Once you get the lock sorted out, consider tapping-in to the power lock function for the tourpak. Light bar also looks great on the chopped pak, IMHO.
I totally agree. Harley instruction are horrible or no instructions at all with a purchased part, kinda forces you to buy the manual, ya think. Regardless, damn that a beautiful bike. Enjoy.

I did the same thing on a 09 CVO RG and a 12 CVO RG, came with instructions and hardware for Tour Pack and lock. This time nothing, no instructions and no hardware. The least they could do is let you know what hardware is needed and the size.
Correct button head cap screws for lock came into dealer, so lock is now in stalled.
I wonder what is going on with HD. I purchased the black HD hinge kit for my chopped TP and it did not come with a black catch for the bottom of my chopped. All other kits are cheaper and come with everything including the tether etc.
