I have been to the dealer and talked to different tech's about aftermarket exhaust and they say that the new wildthings from kuryakyn has more adjustments than the SERT and isn't that expensive, all I want is for my bike to run great and the motor to last not to worried about getting a tone of performance just like to cruise around, all input wood begreatly appreciated
I went with the V&H Big Radius and SERT.I would think the HD dealer would want to install the HD tuner. My dealer is trained and familiar with the dyno tuning with the factory parts.More importantly I maintain my warranty. As for adjustments,I can only go by what I have heard and the SERT is from what I was told is the most adjustable and advanced of all.
Hey thanks duece and drogers for the input going to order the V&H BR . Hey drogers how do they sound man!!!!!!!!
Freakin' Awesome! You wont be disapointed.I will be very curious to see your dyno results.Post it or at least tell us how it comes out.I ended up with 89 hp and 112 torque.I'll post the chart soon.
I might be wrong but I thought that the dealer told me they already have 89hp,but cool if that's what you got then I should get the same but i will let you know as soon as I get all this done .
I don't know,I have heard you get no hp gain, the same hp,and even less hp.The most important thing is it runs better, richer, and cooler with more torque.Let us know your dyno results! My dyno tech was very happy with the results.I'm coming of a 180 hp Kawasaki ZX 12,so,if hp is what I was after I wouldn't bought the Harley. My Kawi was scary fast, yet I put few miles on it. You can't pry my fingers off the Harley. Go figure.
I just finished having a SERT and dyno tune job done on my 2003 SE-Deuce....the bike already had the stage-1 intake and a set of V&H Big Rad pipes on it. Here is my dyno sheet. Although even before the SERT the SE 95" had very respectable numbers.....after it was just a monster!
