Just returned from a 3 day trip with some buddies. \\; On the way back we stopped for a last bite at the Lochsa Lodge in Idaho. \\; There a gorgeous CVO Dyna Wide Glide, Red and Chrome, new, I think but not positive, with a 110. \\; My buddy and I got in a discussion on cost. \\; He says it has to go for $35K, I'm saying around 28K. \\; Not absolute on year, but with a 110 I think it's either an 07 or 08. \\; Anyone out there than can give me some accurate costs? \\; Thanks much, CCRyder
The CVO for 08 in that model was a Dyna Screaming Eagle (basically a Low Rider, but named neither a Low Rider or Wide Glide). In 08 they were made Red, Blue and 105th Copper Pearl. I bought the copper and it's MSRP was $25,850. Other two colors were about $500 less. I'm not sure on 07's colors but I know it was the same bike with a few subtle handlebar and wheel changes. I think the colors were Red, Blue and black for 07. Hope this helps.
2007 OFFERED THEM IN RED, BLUE, AND MIDNIGHT BLACK. I PAID JUST UNDER 25 FOR MY 2007, BUT IF YOUR FRIEND THINKS THEY GO FOR 35, I MIGHT BE WILLING TO PART WITH MINE FOR THAT.
I just picked up a FXDSE2 2008 a week ago Friday...basically $26,000 off the floor and worth every penny and then some. \\; It is Rootbeer-brown, Gold and Black and totally chromed out. \\; It sounds like a Honda off the floor so I had them install a race tuner, 2" Rhinhart pipes and put on the GD Stripper seat 9beyond beautiful on the bike and Comfy on the butt even after 100+ miles. \\; Got the shop to suck-up the total cost of the add-ons so with year's end you should be able to do the same...they kept the old parts so they can resell, saved me $$$ and saved them $$$. \\; I have about 500 miles on it now. \\; Some shake at low RPM because the 110 is not counter-balanced and just rubber mounted to the frame. \\; A lot of torque..at 2500 rpm in 6th the FDXSE2 is going 60 mph. \\; I live in Virginia and all out roads are twisty and hilly and this bike just goes through the turns without thought...never have to think about under or over correction. \\; It does not like low RPMs. This bike is fun enough so a smile never leaves your face...wind or pleasure or both :-)
Sounds like a sweetheart of a bike. \\; I rode the Virginia countryside and surrounding area for ten years while working in the DC area. \\; Great riding country. \\; Come to Montana, and I'll show you some more great riding. \\; Good Luck with your new CVO, CCRyder
If it's an 08 SE \\;it's not a wide glide. A few years ago they did make a SE wide glide but it had the 88 twin cam. The 08 SE dyna is called FXDSE-2, the 07's were FXDSE. Paid 26G for mine hope this helps. PS the 07's and 08's have 110's
