I just bought a used 05 S.E. Electra Glide that looked brand new. I sold my brand new 08 Ultra Classic last year and thought I was done riding for awhile but when I saw the 05 S.E. in Candy Red, I had to have it. Man, this thing rides better than the 08. Everywhere I go now, people come to me to comment on the bike.
Does anyone here have the same bike and if so, are there any problems I should know?
A friend of mine had the teal one plus later got the yellow version and never had one problem with them..he loved them. He moves and rides a lot of HDs and he said they were some of the best.
I traded my 2005 FLHTCSE2 for a 2009 FLTR! I owned 2 FLHTCSE2's. The Red one and the Yellow one. In 09 Harley made so many Improvements... that owning a 2001 FLTRSE2, which I had to sell not by choice... that once I rode the 2009 with all the Improvements, I could not resist!Yes I gave up 7 inches on the Motor but depending on how you ride, won't miss it! At least I havn't. Owning a CVO is Cool and Unique, but you can make a Bike your own and in ways BETTER than a CVO. But to each is own here. Only real thing I've had to get used to again was the Clutch! No Hydraulic own a standard model. But if your on a bike other than a dresser now, any change you make to an upgrade will be X-cellent!
