The rear cylinder spark plug may be cross threaded on my 2009 CVO ultra. The spark plug move about a quarter of a turn and stopped. Rather than take it off, the tech screwed it back on, then called me. Has any one experienced a similar problem with a cross threaded spark plug, or something similar? Appreciate any feedback. Paul
I have a 2010 ultra with 2000 miles and the rear plug seized into the head from heat. When dealer removed plug the head had melted to the plug threads. Service department said it was crossthreaded. ( that is a lie ) update me
and that's the reason i always use anti seize on spark plug threads. damm, that's gotta suck that they are trying to explain the problem away. don't let them helicoil the head.
