I've recently purchased a FLHTRSE2 with about 20K miles on it. The previous owner put a set of Vance&Hines long shots on it with no baffles. In addition he didn't have the ECM remapped afterwards. The bike also has an nonstock Screamin Eagle air cleaner. Luckily he has only rode it about 1000 miles like this. I want to put a set of true duals on it. I have a set with Vane&Hines header pipes and Screamin Eagle mufflers. My question is; since I'm going back almost stock with the exhaust system do I still need to worry about the engine running to lean with this new setup or should I go ahead and have the bike dyno'd to make sure the fuel mixture is correct. I don't plan on riding this bike to it's limits, just daily commutes.

....... unless you put a tuner on it (SEST or PwrComdr) i don't know if you can adjust it much w/just the dyno time or not. You'd either need to flash the ECM or get a tuner & then dyno it.
