need info on new hydraulic shocks on CVO Streetlide
I am trying to get some feedback on the new Harley adjustable shocks that come on the CVO Streetglide. My dealer tells me that the left side shock is adjustable for preload and the right side shock handles rebound. But he has no more info or experience with them. I have tried many of the aftermarket shocks on my 07 streetglide in the past (Progressive 420's and 440's, and Works steel trackers) and didn't like them. I ended up going with the Harley 13" standard height touring shocks and they are OK. Now I see that these new shocks are available as an accessory for $495. Before I spend that much I'd sure like to get some opinions from anyone who has the 2010 CVO Streetglide.
Thanks
I've adjusted mine for two up riding and it was too stiff with just me alone. Since I am solo 99% of the time I reset them to my weight. It was too bouncy so I set them to two turns over my weight and found a happy medium. It's nice not to worry about your air pressure and hauling around the HD pump anymore.
