Default Does the klock werks windshield solve the buffiting?

I have taken some heat for complaining about the wind buffiting with the OEM windshield on the Street Glide. I really enjoy the Road King without the windshield and ride 75% without it. I love the wind but dislike the turbulance that I get (my height 6-0) on the Street Glide. My dealer says that the klock werks windshield will solve the turbulance. Is this true?

Yes it does. My wife and I both have the Klockwerks on our Street Glides.
I have just bought a new Road Glide and I plan on trying the National Cycles new line of shields. Good reviews and wind tunnel testing to back it up.

i assume with the national cycle shield i can not use my windshield bag on my 09 Ultra. which aftermarket windshield will give me better aerodynamics and still allow use of my windshield bag?

No, I haven't run with it yet, I get my bike back from the dealer tomorrow. (new cruise control!! Yeah!)
I'll post tomorrow night with pictures.
I installed Harleys taller shield, and it seems to do a fair job. I still get some buffeting from it, but WAaY better than stock. Im anxious to try The National shield.

Default National Cycle V stream vs. Harley Wind splitter

Well I picked up my bike and ran home with the Harley Wind Splitter on. I pulled up the Drive and installed the National Cycle V Stream. Right away I noticed the V Stream was shorter than the Wind Splitter, BUT a little wider through out as the pictures show.
I thought with that I would get air directed in my forehead or eyeballs. NOT!! The VStream worked incredibly well, the wind was just over the top of my head. I could feel the wind come around the sides as I did with the Wind Splitter but the V Stream did a lot better job.
The wind splitter is a good choice, but you get more buffeting on the sides of your head than the V Stream.
One thing I thought was funny, was the Harley windshield was taller and had a bigger re curve to it at the top, But it DID NOT put the wind further over the top of my head. STRANGE??

On the road with the National.

I got a clearview 8" recurve and it solved all buffeting from the top. Depending on the wind, I still get a little from underneath, but the lower deflectors will fix that.

don't think it will. i put the chrome HD wind deflectors on my RK and that did eliminate all the buffeting while i look over a stock hd windscreen
