Default 2011 RGU S.E. 110....I need more HP!!..HELP!!!

I want more HP out of my 2011 Road Glide Ultra Screaming Eagle 110....any help that has recommendations AND price estimates are welcome.

I have a few questions:

What cam is in it stock?
Roughly how much HP is stock?

I have my heart set on 2-1 D&D thunder Cats...I just love the sound...but what else would you recommend for "upping" the output?

I don't want to go crazy, but I think I need cams, adjustable pushrods, and a programmer...anything else?

Tank,

First off, congrats on the new scoot & to the site!

Stock cam is an SE255. Very low end torque. Pretty good moving big touring bikes.

Stock HP is around 84HP and 98 torque.

Best adivse I could give you is to either look into "Fuel Moto". Lots of fans on this site and Jamie (owner of FM) is true to his word.

Another fine choice is "Fulsac". Steve (Owner of Fulsac) is Awesome as well.

You need to get RID of the Cat in the head Pipe, add a turner, and change out the cores in the pipes or get a set of pipes of your choice.

Changing out the above will get you "make a HUGH improvement and your seat of your pants dyno will add miles of smiles.

Look into CVOHarley.com forum. There is a lot of info and then you can decide if you need to change cams and everything else.

Take your time and do your homework. These 110" come EPA friendly from the factory and they need to breath and exhale, but once you do this, they are trully a blast to ride!

Ride Safe and Good Luck!

YELLOWBIRD

PS. Sorry my eyes are tired and can't see stright. I'm sure other will cime in.

Well I was hoping for more responses...

Looks like I'm going with the 110 Screaming Eagle hop up kit,... flat pistons, cams, precision cut pushrods, tuner, gaskets, etc.

I'll also be purchasing some Woods cams , I want to use them instead on the S.E. cams.

As for exhaust,....D & D 2 into 1 Fat Cats.

For a grand total of $2,000...I can get the stuff at cost....and If I sell the S.E. cams I can get about $200 back....so $1,800 total

I'm told that just the S.E. hop-up kit will bring me up to about 114hp and 120 tq, and adding the woods cams, and the D&D 2-1 pipes will give me a total of around 130hp and 140tq...

....does that sound right-ish?

That sounds a little high with a flat top piston and NO headwork...

Very unlikely with those numbers. With every thing being the best, you'll be very lucky to get 120 HP 120 TQ, but not for $2K.

You might get 106HP 115 TQ with all of the above done. But don't even think on wasting your money on. A HD SE Pro tuner, they're junk!

From the research I've done there is NO WAY you are going to get that kind of power with what you are talking about doing NONE not even a slither. There are plenty of guys out here that are more of an expert than myself, maybe if go to one of the engine build areas you will get a better idea. Its my understanding the 110 is not the most horsepower buildable motor. Once you get to the 105ish HP and 117ish TQ you are pretty much done unless you spend a ton of money at which time you might look at buying a HD 120R and be cost affective.
