Default Engine idleing down at stop light when hot?

I am new to the CVO world, just got it in Nov. (09 SE Ultra) and noticed the other day in traffic that when I pulled up to a stop light and then sat in traffic with a hot engine, it seemed to load down like it was going into an energy saving mode. Twisted it a tad, all sounded good. 3-1/2" Rhineharts. Let it set a few secs. back again. Does this sound right?

Read the owners manual.
You can turn turn it off and on your self the rear Cyl will shut down.
When it is enabled.

This is a rear cylinder turn off feature in traffic mode. You can put it on and off by holding the throttle forward for a few seconds. You will see your cruise control light, light up green when it is on and red when it is off

Roll throttle forward to turn off and on. Also works to kill cruise control instead of hitting brakes

Yeah. I just found this out when I had to take the bike to the shop for repairs the other night. I was going to pick up some paint for a trailer project we are doing and I came to a stop light and found out I had no throttle!!!!!! Engine was running fine, just no throttle response.
Made it off the road around the corner, turned bike off. Started back up, no go. Several times more, was good to go again. Took off, made it about 6-8 blocks, no roll again. Called the OL to come meet me and pull back security for me to the shop. To about 2-1/2hrs to cover 8 miles.
Called the shop the next day to tell them what had happened and told them about the idle issue and they told me the same thing ya'll did. Waiting to hear back what the damage is and cause. Been 4 days now.
Thanks for the ideas for future reference.

***UPDATE**** Dealer called yesterday and stated my scoot is done. Asked what it was and he stated that it was a loose connection in the throttle electronics and all is well now. I am going to ask him to show me when I pick it up for future reference or to see if he is full if it for I will see any wrench twisting marks on it. We'll see.
