Default video - stock vs 2.25 SD fullsac

here's the video! I used a gopro so sounds not that great not even sure you can tell the differance ...but I can tell you great sound...engine heat is much better and even better performance with just cores!!...my bike just wants to go...have you guys looked at the stock cvo cores? the damn things have a plug at the end talk about restrictive!! enjoy

some feedback on the fullsacs 2.25 SD cores
Great sound when you get on it.. Nice idle sound but not too loud not to soft seems somewhere in the middle. Much better than the stock cores (with the stock cvo cores with that plug at the end, very restrictive)
So what I have seen so far from the fullsac cores is
Reduced heat from engine
Better throttle response
...Much better then stock sound - not too loud!! you can still hear the radio just fine
It seems to want to get up and go a little more (not stuffed up)
Not bad for having the cats still in.
Best of all – looks stock and still has the EPA stamp on the mufflers !!
I'll have to use another camera and take another video...this video doesn't do the cores justice!!

As I understand it we may have 15% ethanol in our fuel by next year and am wondering if the Thundermax would not be the better choice as it continually reprograms itself according to the current performance variables, etc. I certainly don't want to get into remapping frequently.

Also, what is HD's stance on the TTS Mastertuner regarding warranty?

I sure like what I am hearing about the fulsac header pipes and cores for my eom mufflers and am anxious to learn more about them.

I just changed to the Fullsac X-Pipe header and I highly recomend it.
http://www.fullsac.com/x-pipe.html

My tuner was shocked at how well it improved with just a header change.
An increase of 5.2 hp and 10.5 lbs of torque.
.......and so far the heat is reduced to a tolerable level (which is what I was after).

FYI: I had already removed the cat using Vance & Hines True Duels headers.

I wound up. Throwing a set of 2" baffles from full sac in my 2012 CVO mufflers. Surprised how quiet it still is. I ran the packing material. Steve said if you remove the packing they will be louder. I like it mellow at idle and cruise but then wakes up on hard throttle. So full sac said the sd cores are louder? Is there any other difference other than the cheese grating baffle only running half way down?

well your going from a 2.00 core to a 2.25 core so that will give you a little more sound but other then that..your right the baffle is only half way down the core..it's like extending your header pipe a little more with just a small baffle. I love the way it sounds not to loud... but I think it's just right...still quiet on the highway almost sounds stock until you get on it...I'll get a better video up soon. with my gopro video you really can't tell how it sounds....when I do the headers in the spring I'll get a video up for that as well.
