Just saw my first 2007 RK SE , color was Black Ice which really got me going! Anybody out there buy one yet? What's the feedback on it? Just might have to part with some cash for one! Anyone know where the best deal might be?
Have a black ice FLHRSE3. Stunning color. Of course I'm not biased. Ha! Not sure if you saw an unsold FLHRSE3 for theremightbe an unsold FLHRSE3 on a dealer's floor here and there, but it is more likely one would need to get in line and order one -- to the extent it is still possible. Here's my initial ride report with images:
I have a cobalt blue FLHRSE3. Good power, good ergonomics unless you are over 6 foot (I'm 6'2"), quietest stock exhaust on a Harley yet. After RH TD, EFI tuner, hi-flow ac, highway pegs etc, it is a great ride now!
Not sure what is meant by "quietest stock exhaust on a Harley yet". The opposite is true and Harley crows about this in the '07 new model release press kits. Improvements to the engine (quieting it down) permitted opening/deepening the stock exhaust somewhat. The '07 FLHRSE3 stock exhaust note is so nice I'm considering keeping it -- nice improvement over the many H-D's owned in the past.
FWIW, I'm 6'4" and fit the SERK fine -- being used to sportbikes makes this a plush ride to me .
