Default CVO Road King

I am considering the '13 CVO Road King. Can anyone share their experience with one? The Good, the Bad and the Ugly...

Ipod music system ain't worth a **** at highway speeds, when I stop in town I've to lower the volume manually.......but I'm a leetle deef.

I was just looking at one in my local dealer. The 40K price tag had me gasp a bit. Nice looking bike though! I'm in Canada btw.

I love mine but as others have stated, the stereo is not good above 50mph, and I dumped the mailbox windshield and ordered a standard RK.

Funny, I find the mailbox windshield to be kinda cool..... gives me something to check while riding, see if I got any airmail.

Not sure what you guys are talking about not hearing the radio at road speeds. We ride at 55-70 all the time and can hear it. We have gone 80-90 couple times and can still hear it. We went on a poker ride this past Saturday afternoon and the guy behind us could hear the music and loved it! We absolutely love the bike. The only thing we are looking at changing on it is the seat and passenger backrest. My husband is fine with the seat but as a passenger my butt hurts after a long ride and the taller backrest would be nice for the long rides.

I just picked up my 13 CVO King last Saturday. Have only had a chance to put 300 miles on it but I love the bike. It runs like a bat out of hell. I agree the stereo is not as good as a road glide on highways but thats because the speakers are low mounted. People behind me enjoy the sound better than me at 60+. That being said 90% of my driving is not on the highway so I like the King better. If I did more highway miles I'd have gone road glide.
