Hope it doesn't cause the error warning light to come on.Make sure the ballast is the right one that's made for the Canbus system, otherwise that's what's gonna happen.I had the same issue on my Fatboy lo

I'm not sure how the lights on the Road Glide work since it's a twin headlight setup. But I believe just like the softails, the Street Glide is a one headlight setup where a single bulb acts as both the high and low beam. When you get a single HID bulb kit,I think there is only one beam which changes in intensity when switched between high and low beam and I noticed that this is actually done by a certain mechanism that slide in and out.I could be wrong here but I figured the reason why the the error sign comes up is because the system reads as there is only one bulb and the other is missing or blown.I don't know of any kit out there that would not give me this problem and surely don't want to risk it with my new bike but I can tell you the HID lights are awesome.

I got the same brand from Retro Solutions, and the bi-xenon bulbs for my Road Glide. Lifetime warranty on the bulbs. This is the 4th set, 3 harleys and my 05 Trailblazer. 8k bulbs

They have different options. . one option is like you said (mechanism that moves the bulb. .. and. ..2 bulbs in one assembly (hid lowbeam, and a halogen for highbeam)

I know I'll get crap for this, but from people we ride with, my HID is much brighter and noticeable to traffic than the Daymaker. They do burn a lot hotter and less reliable. So make sure you buy one with a lifetime warrant, as several have, and enjoy. Just make sure you light it up before putting it in you housing. It has a film that needs to be burnt off, as most bulbs do, or you will cloud the lens. Some say you need a projector, but from my experience from stock, it is literally night and day.
DDMtuning has a lifetime warranty and cheap. They are all made in China so find the best deal.
