Default 60th Birthday
My birthday is Sept. 16th, and this year I turn a young 60. My wife and I stopped by a local shop yesterday to say Hey! and found what I like to call my dream present. A one owner 1999 FXR2 in Arresting Red #119. I met the owner and made the deal for $7000. The bike is all original and all papers, service records, etc. with it. The lady owned it since new and unfortunately had heart issues 2 years ago and parked the bike, not wanting to ride and take chances. She is now 71 years young and ready to pass it on to someone who will enjoy and love it as she did. As we talked, the tears started to roll from her eyes, and I knew then how much this bike meant to her, and letting go of it was hard. I'm looking forward to having allot of special times riding "Haley" and taking her to visit that Special lady from time to time. Now we have to make room in our garage between my Roadking and my wifes Sporty.

Wow congrats. Awesome story for a bike with some known history. Got to love a bike that was treated and taken care of with the utmost respect and affection. I bet she hated seeing it go, but knows deep down that its going to someone that will treat it right.

I'm betting you won't be the only one to ride it if your wife takes it out for a spin, would be a huge upgrade from her sporty.

I have a picture of the FXR in my album now. Been riding it around the Indy area since its the GPmoto now, and it gets allot of looks.

Haley has givin' me a turn signal issue, she is now being called TheRedHeadedBitch...LOL But I still have the turn issue.
