I am happy with my '13. I love the radio and when I bought this one I was actually in love with the '13 CVO Roadglide. I love the RG, don't get me wrong, but when I assessed what most of my riding is (commuting in town for work, occasional day trip to G'ville or Orlando (both about an hour drive each way) the King was a better match. If it didn't have audio, I'd have gone with the RG. Everyone will have their favorite bike (hopefully the one they own or one they can afford to get) and not everyone will like my '13. But since I am the one who rides it, who gives a chit...
14 CVO Road King is the pick of the litter IMHO. I love the orange and black one. I really dig the blacked out motor treatment too. It has a modern and aggressive look. Makes me want to strip down my Streetglide and trade.
What all was required to mount the forward controls?
about 500.00 and about 1.5 hrs. did not have to remove the engine guard like on the older controls although I did. Way more comfortable. only removed the foot boards and kickstand mount although did have to reinstall the kickstand mount
Recently picked up a 14 CVO RK, now its my 1st touring style bike I have always been on softtails. I like it a few things I want to change but that's normal. compared to a deluxe it rides like a caddy.
Love the orange color. It is not a choice on HD site, is it custom done by this dealer only?
