It took me about two weeks to make up my mind on buying a new 2014 CVO Breakout. Lots of money for a bike. Lots of bike though. Anyway I was supposed to pick it up last Thursday. Getting ready to head to the dealer and I find out about the recall. I thought the service guy was giving me crap at first. I go in and talk with the sales manager and find out what's going on. Seems the bikes built between a certain period have issues with the hydraulic clutch. Talk about bummed! Bottom line is parts are due in tomorrow morning at 9:30 and it should be fixed and ready to run in a couple of hours. Going to be tough sleeping tonight.
Here's a pic of it sitting on the dealer floor a few days ago.
Bike makes my freaking ____ hard just looking at it.
The day ended on a good note. The dealer got the bulletin from HD and after checking the clutch plate my bike was not affected by the recall. Look what's sitting in my garage right now.
I got in a short ride today and absolutely love it.

Thanks guys. Cloudy, windy and about 45F today but I got out anyway, nothing short of rain or snow was going to stop me. I kept it on the mellow side, following the rules for break in--for the most part. I had a stage one on the Wide Glide and happy to say this one pulls harder. Such a satisfying thing. I can't think of a better way to describe it either. It pulls hard. A simple twist of the throttle and it gives you the feeling it's digging down and getting a good grip before it takes off. Must be that huge back tire. Few miles on the interstate and again a very satisfying experience. Doing 65 in 6th around 2k rpms and hit it and it's at 75 real quick. That pulling sensation again.
Only thing I don't like is the sound of the stock pipes but that will be fixed over the winter. Choices are limited right now but I'm thinking the V&H Big Radius 2 into 2 will look real good. Give me something to do over the winter.
