Default Kill switch wiring

I have just installed new hand controls on my 77 FXE and was wondering if anyone could tell me where the two wires on the on\off switch goes they were not connected before so the switch never worked and I would like to get it working again.

who knows if you even have the correct wire harness - but the gray is key on the white is the 12 volts to the coil ie ignition - and the black is the starter solenoid engage

Right...Grey 12v from Keyswitch, white 12v from kill/run to coil, and black comes from the starter button Via, the run/kill which provide 12v Only in Run position.

Unless someone from around here wired it...In which case they are all red wires!!!LOL
