Can anyone tell me where the throttle friction spring sits when reassembling?
First time putting on new bars and the spring tumbled out when I loosened the assembly. I put it back where it looks logical but throttle doesn't feel the same now.
I have the schematic in the manual but it's not clear to me.
Hey, its got an upside down and/or backwards, once you locate where it goes,
you got it. good job.
As is said, there is no stupid question.
You may want to use graphite, white lube, or something appropriate on assembly.
Many times, the thumb screw on bottom is gone, or worn. Its helpful, and spring centers on it.
Just talkin bout what I used to do, may be wrong.
