Considering IP replacement with CHROME, and I believe my only option is V-Twin:
1. V-Twin Mfg - currently available thru multipile outlets
2. Lifeline Intl. - NOS appears only option - Has bad rap on OLD (2007-2012) forums do not see much on newer forums - have they corrected problems?
3. Rivera Primo - no longer produced, and company is out of stock
QUESTION - Does anyone have RECENT experience with V-twin outer and inner primaries good or bad??
^^ Hmmm, it was functional??
I have never had anything from Lifeline that was functional.. some crap could be massaged into half assed working..
If it don't bind the starter nor leak... I'd say "run it"
I had my "OE" primary done ( years ago ) by Atlantic Coast Plating ( they did a fabulous job on my rocker boxes ) and the inner came out terrible ... Full of "acne" ... They took their time on the Rocker Boxes and of course charged me accordingly, but failed miserably on the inner ... I wound up using another inner, cleaned up all the casting flashing's, glass beaded it and applied a coat of engine black on it ... Still looks good many years later
I also had a life line come in the shop that fooled me that it was one of those - I guess like in the real world the one factory one that turned out to be an issue - is backwards the one life line that worked
"below the bottom of the barrel" ugh.....At least my inner is OEM
Find a bridge somewhere and throw that as hard and far as you can, pure junk nothing aligns or fits correctly and they are off enough to give you starter & bendix problems.

Great advice but Ill probably end up putting a clock through the derby cover and hang it in the garage.
